It was not an easy decision to stop doing local craft fairs, but I think it was for the best. I love the interaction with people and the ideas and feedback. My umbrellas just did not sell well in this environment. I think it is an item that is bought mostly for oneself, and not as a gift. If I am lucky, I may run into 2-3 people at any given show that need a second line umbrella. While people hop on google to specifically look for an umbrella for their event. I also enjoy having my weekends back.

Chickens: Part 1
Here our lovely ladies are only 3-4 weeks old. I located them on craigslist, and picked them up a few hours later. Twelve dollars bought me 6 chicks and five pounds of chicken feed. Not a bad deal. They are black sexlinks with a nice temperment. These are old pictures from early March. I will post new ones as soon as I get around to taking them.
